Kim Inglis,

Kim Inglis is a Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager with Aura Wealth Management, a financial advisory practice within Raymond James Ltd. She works closely with families, entrepreneurs, corporations, and charitable organizations to help them navigate complex financial decisions and build long-term wealth strategies.

Kim earned her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria. She began her career in the U.S. trading division of a previous investment firm before becoming a Senior Portfolio Manager, bringing both market experience and entrepreneurial perspective to her practice. She specializes in conservative wealth management and comprehensive financial planning for high and ultra-high-net-worth clients, with expertise in cross-border planning, portfolio management, and responsible investing. Kim holds the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), Personal Financial Planner (PFP), Fellow of CSI (FCSI), Responsible Investment Advisor Certification (RIAC) and CFA ESG Certificate credentials.

Kim is a recognized Canadian voice on investing, wealth management, and personal finance strategies. She is regularly invited to provide market commentary and financial insights for national media outlets including BNN Bloomberg, Asset TV, CBC News, and CTV News. Her commentary and writing have appeared in publications including The Globe and Mail, Financial Post, National Post, and Business in Vancouver. She has also written financial columns for many community publications and has been published in most of the major provincial newspapers across Canada. In addition, she was featured as a subject matter expert in a university textbook published by McGraw Hill. Kim is deeply committed to community involvement and charitable initiatives, contributing both her time and expertise to organizations across Canada. She is the founder of Making Waves for Autism, a national paddling initiative supporting Autism Canada. What began in 2024 as a solo 365-kilometre paddle has grown into a national campaign involving clubs and participants across the country, raising more than $110,000 to date. Kim currently serves on the Board of the KGH Foundation. She is also a Director with the Central Okanagan Land Trust and previously served on the Board of the Central Okanagan Foundation, where she chaired the Investment Committee. Nationally, Kim sits on the Advisory Committee for the Raymond James Canada Foundation, an organization that has facilitated more than $45 million in grants to charities across Canada and internationally. She is also a member of the Ring Committee at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and a past President and Director of the New Stride Thoroughbred Adoption Society, a charity focused on rehoming retired racehorses. Kim continues to volunteer with the Toronto Police Service Mounted Unit. Locally, she supports trail preservation initiatives in Myra-Bellevue Provincial Park through the Friends of the South Slopes Society.

Outside of work, Kim is passionate about sport, fitness, and the outdoors. She enjoys surfski paddling, mountain biking, downhill skiing, and equestrian pursuits. Kim is also a World Championship medallist in outrigger canoe racing. In her earlier years, she competed nationally as an elite flatwater canoe athlete and was a multiple-time Canadian champion.
